Get to Know Me
Aasalaamu alaikum!
I’m Um Sireen, a homeschooling Muslim mother living in the UK. I grew up in Morocco, where learning Arabic was a smooth and effortless process, never a challenge. However, since I live in a non-Arab-speaking country, I knew that teaching my children Arabic would not be easy. I needed to be determined, prepared, and consistent. I wanted learning Arabic to be engaging and enjoyable. I spent hours searching for the right resources, only to be unsatisfied or overwhelmed.
While worksheets and workbooks can be great tools, I needed interactive resources, Montessori-inspired and hands-on fun activities that can bring Arabic to life in our day-to-day. And this is how Arabic Matters came to be.
